Eurodam

Eurodam was the first of the Signature class ships to enter service.  Her exterior is essentially identical to that of Nieuw Amsterdam although there are differences in the interior decor.

Here, we see Eurodam having entered the middle section of the Fort Lauderdale harbor just at dawn.

This section of the harbor is rectangular with cruise terminals on three sides.  Eurodam's berth today is at the southern end of the rectangle.  Using her bow thrusters and azipods, Eurodam pivots to bring herself around so that she is parallel to the dock.  She then propelled herself sideways until her starboard side was against the dock.

Later in the day, Eurodam uses her bow thrusters to push her bow away from the dock and turns so that she is parallel to the long sides of the rectangle.  That done, she proceeds to the harbor entrance and out to sea.
