The southernmost port on Breakaway's itinerary was Bridgetown, Barbados.

It was a busy day in the port as Breakaway was joined by Celebrity Eclipse (above), the German cruise ship AIDAluna (right), and Thomson Celebration (U.K.) (below).

The final port of call was Basseterre on St. Kitts.

With Breakaway in port was the M.V. Azores (below left).  Originally built in 1948, this ship has been through numerous incarnations.  Her most famous was as the Swedish America Line's Stockholm during which she collided with the Italian Line's Andrea Doria resulting in the sinking of the latter ship.  After a $150 million refurbishment, she is now sailing for the British line Cruise and Maritime Voyages.

On the other side of the bay was Club Med 2 (below right).
